I bought this toaster oven for my boyfriend…He loves to cook. I swear he uses it almost every time we cook at home. It toasts to perfection and is great for roasting veggies, making flat bread pizzas, baking hand cut potatoes for homemade french fries, and simply heating things up. A smaller version of Breville’s 800XL Smart Oven the Breville BOV650XL is an 1800 watt countertop oven but with the smaller footprint of 10″ H – 16.5″ W – 14.25″ D. While it is smaller in size it’s ability to deliver the right power at the right temperature at the right time makes it a worthy addition to any kitchen.
While not a convection oven this toaster oven heats quickly and cooks perfectly by maintaining an accurate temperature. Intuitive to use it does have eight presets available and while you can certainly use it to make up to four slices of toast this oven is made to broil, bake, and cook just about anything beautifully. Pizza, bagels, pies, whole chickens, all are handled easily and if clean up is needed, well, that’s easy too. Clean lines, well made, this is quality all the way around.

The whole family (inc. the kids) fell in love with it…This toaster is so easy to use, my 8 and 11 yr old can operate on their own with minimal supervision. I have always used a toaster oven but largely for the toaster/browning properties…..no more. This baby is also a great convection oven. This oven heats up to 450 in 3 minutes. Yes, I timed it. It toasts wonderfully, perfectly evenly…A 12 inch pizza whose directions say cook for 14 – 16 minutes is done in 9. A fruit cobbler that was supposed to take 45-50 minutes took 30. The rack, bake pans and crumb tray all clean perfectly, even baked on food comes off easily. This has become my primary oven… v.

More economical than a standard oven you’ll find yourself using it every day.
